The hunting area of Dragacevo cover the territory of Lucani district at an area of 45.423 ha. It is qualified as a mountain hunting ground. Big game (roe­buck and wild boar), small game (rabbit, pheasant and gray partridge) and predator animals (wolf, fox, marten, badger, hawk, magpie, crow, etc.) are bred, protected and hunted here. Wild boar is hunted in higher terrains of the hunting area, wolf and roebuck are hunted in upper Dragacevo (on the slopes of the Cemerno mountain. 1000 m height above sea level) and the rest of the game is hunted within the entire area of the hunting ground.

Two hunting rest homes (in Guca and Lucani), a hunting house (in Kaona) and a few hunting huts and cottages (Ovcar, Jelica, Vrljan, Mrcajevac, Klade etc.) are at disposal to the hunters of Dragacevo. In the area of upper Dragacevo, numerous blinds - observation posts, of open and closed types - have been erected for the purposes of hunting, dozens of breeding places and salt licks for big game as well as a great number of pheasantry shelters, out of which the shelter "Vranjica" near Guca (covering an area of 1 ha) is set up for artificial breeding of pheasants, upon which these are released to their natural surroundings. The "Zmajeva reka" shelter (covering an area of 8 ha) has been for years a centre in which roebuck game is sheltered, adapted and finally released to nature. Over the last few years, the very same mountain river, clear and swift, has been stocked with trout. Fishing of this attractive species is expected to start soon. The nature has been generous with Dragacevo. Its flora and fauna give a visitor opportunity to relax and enjoy.
